Registration
All players who want to use this server must register. Only one account per player is permitted.
Registration is only permitted by giving your full name. No nicknames are allowed. Registration with obvious nicknames are immediately suspended, the games are declared lost.
A valid and working Email-Address must be supplied. If this address changes, the new address needs to be stored here immediately.
The player should give also information about his country of origin and his birthday, a current rating and the organisation, where he has achieved that rating. IECG-Members are requested to mention their IECG-Memberid, non-IECG Members from other organisations should give similar information.
After registration the status of the player is set to Guest level, which permits him to start up to 4 games.
The Server Administrator will check the correctness of the information supplied within the next 48 hours and promote the player to Qualification Membership.
If the player is already an IECG Member with more than 40 rated IECG Games, he/she is directly promoted to Restricted Membership.
If the Server Administrator is not available during the next 48 hours, eg. due to vacation, this will be announced as a Breaking News or on the news page. The registration will then take place when he returns
Some of the entries made during registration may be changed later in the Preference Section
Violation of the above requirements may lead to a rejection of the membersh
Not supplying a valid email address now or later can lead to a suspension, if this happens after the membership was granted.
The Lechenicher SchachServer guarantees that the data collected through the registration are kept secure and that only that data, which are required for a registration at IECG are transferred to IECG. No further use of the data will be applied without the agreement of the player.
The data stored are Name, Firstname, Country, Birthdate, Email-Address, Rating, Origin of Rating, Last Logindate. Further, for cheat investigations and for further development, the IP Address, the Browser Type and the Operating System can be stored. The latter data will be deleted, as soon as the reason for storing it no longer exists.
